I received my three pack from Accessory Export through Amazon within the week of the order (California to Alabama snail mail). The protectors are more or less no different from the extended life type that came with my AT&T Tilt some two years back (it lasted the two years but is softer and more flexible). One complaint, that takes a star away – the glue that holds the removable tab, for applying the screen protector, is a bear to get off once you have the protector in place. I had to carefully scrape that tab off with my thumbnail and it wasn’t easy. I then had to use multiple tissue papers, lightly dampened with alcohol, to remove the residual glue. That took an inordinate amount of time. My Navigation Edition 5800 has a very sensitive touch screen, so this thicker protector made very little difference in the touch input. If it weren’t for the glue holding that application tab, this would be a five star product for my Nokia 5800.

the screen works well – but it’s hard to put it on without bubble. If you never used this thing before, I think you probably will mess up the first one very easily, so the reason that you need a three pack – you can use the first one for practice. :}

To put it on without bubble, the key is to clean your phone carefully, no dust/lint, then follow the instructions, that’s all.

Once it’s on, it looks good and protects the screen well.

The quality of the protector itself is very good and the equipment for applying it that comes with the package make it a great bang for the buck. After trying several times to prevent bubbles, still some bubbles exist under the screen protector at the edges, but that’s very widespread in all protectors of this price. All in all, I recommend this screen protector.

For the 5800, I found this case to be perfect (it will not fit the Nokia phone holder for the car). I had a cheaper generic one before and did not like it because although the outside was rubber-like the inside was hard plastic, so every time I took off the cover to clean or remove battery, over time, the case would start to mark the phone. However, this case is rubber-like inside and out, easy to take on and off, without being too loose, and it has just enough of a raised lip on the front edges to protect the screen in case of droppage (of course, a true test would be drop it on a hard surface several times to see how it really performs, but…). I get the impression the case is carefully and thoughtfully constructed.

The cons are as other reviewers have noted, it will attract lint, grabs your pocket liner, and add some bulk to your phone, but that is to be expected, the cost of impact-absorbing rubber material. Also, the screen protector that comes with the case will cover the front sensor on the 5800 that is next to the front camera. This is a problem for example with the alarm function, which relies on this front sensor and will disable the touch controls for “snooze” and “stop”. I recommend either cutting the screen protector before putting it on, or using other screen protectors that do not cover the sensor, like the one sold on Amazon from Accessory Export Packaging. I’ve had this for less than a month so I’m not sure how this will hold up over time.

This is the first case for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic that has actually fit well. All of the side buttons, including the lock are easy to get to. The camera hole leaves room for the silver lining around the lens, (that helps focus the light) so your pictures are not distorted when taken with the case on. Overall a wonderful case, however one HUGE downfall is that it really is a lint magnet. There is no way to keep it clean. It does not slide easily into a pocket because of the grippy silicone texture. I have stopped using it because of its lint factor. If you are not opposed to lint, it is a wonderful product.
