This a very late review, possibly a waste of time since Sony Ericsson no longer promotes this phone, and for very good reasons: it fails to deliver almost all of its promises. Mine is not the worst of all of them or so they say, however, it suffers of strange hangs, for not known sequences it just freezes for a given period of time, it can be seconds or minutes. Sometimes it is necessary to remove the battery from its compartment to reset the phone, in order to make it work again. Then, there comes the camera, a 5 MP Sony Cybershot that doesn’t fires the flash when it should, or emits too much light to overexpose the resulting images. The keyboard is really antiergonomic and, to make it even less friendly to the user, the lower portion of the LCD screen is touch sensitive in just three points. If you leave your finger over it a little bit longer than expected, it will do what you want twice forcing you to do the intended sequence again. For not known reasons too its image quality is terrible. Pictures tend to be slightly moved or out of focus, and indoors and in low light they come so bad, so as to make it very difficult to correct their shortfalls even with an advanced version of Photoshop. Just as a phone is good but to surf the Net it is also less than ideal, since it will organize website contents as a list, instead as in a PC screen. if you are in a hurry, looking for something in Amazon, for example, the experience can be maddening. Finally, Sony Ericsson won’t do anything to help you, you will be on your own after the purchase, longing for other phones, even lower priced ones. To sum up: Stay away from this phone as far as possible, it will keep both your pocket and liver safe.
