I bought this rather skeptically online, but turned out that these mittens (and other products from this company) are extremely soft and don’t fade or shrink after washes. I’d highly recommend these for your baby’s tender hands.

Returned these prior to baby’s birth as I thought I might not like to restrict her like that BUT when she started scratching her head when she got frustrated I wanted to kick myself for returning it. Anyway I would say if you dont want a kid to suck hi thumb use a pacifier. If you dont want him to scratch himself then certainly get these. Babies hands need to be free most of the time. It’s a part of their development to have use of their hands and fingers.

The real color for the mittens is different from the picture. The mittens are actually bright fluorescent color (not the creamy sage color as shown in the picture here). Also, there is this huge paper label on the inside of the mittens, which could potentially cause irritation to baby’s soft skin. I tried to rip off this huge label but it’s not removable without ripping the stiching on the mittens.
