Please know this is a great little computer. I got it for my daughter to take to college. She loves it. Please just realize that the one Amazon sells here is NOT NEW, but REFURBISHED!!!! They don’t say that in their description, which is just wrong! When it arrived “refurbished” was written all over the box. I called Amazon customer service and they stated there was a problem with this page and that they were very sorry, that it was a mistake. I notice it still sells for the higher price of a NEW one and still doesn’t say “refurbished” in the discription. This is just not right! I might even have considered keeping it because the price was actually good, but there were no instruction books, papers or any kind of documentation enclosed. I sent it back and went to Best Buy to buy it, but had to pay more. SO BUYER BEWARE!!!

Well it was the cheapest and had the largest screen and decent processor power for the bucks and also has all the fat wire connections on the right side, I’m left handed and use a mouse so this was good for me. those are the things I like. The things I don’t like.. This has a built in video camera but it has a terrible latency problem.. 1/2 second delay, that’s annoying. Audio wise there’s white noise in the left speaker. It has no flash card slot and the CD / DVD recorder is slow at best. The cheapest they could put in this unit to keep costs down which also keeps me down. Another big problem is the lettering on the keys is so dim you need a bright light to see anything. The picture quality is okay but and tweaking it is minimal at best so if you’re an artist, this isn’t the unit for you. I’m an artist.:( All and all. For $549.00 at Worst Buy… I mean Best Buy. You could do worse… While I’m at it. Windows 7 is not compatible with windows explorer so you’ll need to install FireFox. That browser works just fine. Windows should be ashamed on many levels. I have to change my printer out as it’s not compatible with windows 7 and was with Vista which was and still is the worst OS they put out to date!!!

One has to understand that after having put my money in my wallet from my Yearly Tax Refund–

after designating just enough cash to shop for a low to middle range laptop… price… and then “live till payday”….I saw this laptop and did not fall in love.

BUT, I looked at it and all the others with similar prices at the Best Buy store (sorry for the free PR), and THIS was the winner.

AND it was actually so well designed, I marveled at it as I “broke it in,” just taking my time and doing everything one should do upon buying a laptop/notebook pc.

It just gets better and better every time I use it….so, easily, 5 stars could be achieved, soon, by this Brand New item :O)))))))
